2. Yaññadatta. Son of Ani Mandavya. While he was playing, his ball rolled into an anthill, and, all unsuspecting, he put his hand in and was bitten by a snake. He was cured by "Acts of Truth" performed by his parents and by Kanha Dípáyana (J.iv.30f). See the Kanhadípáyana Játaka. He is identified with Ráhula. J.iv.37.
