7. Sunandá. A garland maker's daughter of Rájagaha. She was a sotápanna and daily visited the thúpa built by Ajátasattu in Rájagaha, offering to it flowers and garlands sent by her father. On fast days she would go of her own accord. When she died, she was reborn in Távatimsa in the retinue of Sakka, and when questioned by him, recounted her actions in the past. Sakka related the story to Vangísa, who, in his turn, told it to the sangítikárakas. Vv.iii.9; VvA.170f.
