2. Jotiya.-A king of seventy-three kappas ago, a previous birth of Mańjaripújaka. Ap.i.228.
3. Jotiya.-A Nigantha, for whom Pandukábhaya built a house to the east of the Nícasusána at Anurádhapura (Mhv.x.97). The Mahávamsa Tíká (p.296) calls him a Nagaravaddhakí. The Abhayagiri-vihára was later erected on the spot occupied by Jotiya's residence. MT.620.
