A village in the Vajji country, where the Buddha stayed on his last journey, in the Ananda cetiya, and where he preached a sermon on the four Mahápadesá (the "Great Authorities") (D.ii.124f.; A.ii.167ff).

From Bhoga he went on to Pává (D.ii.126).

Bhoga was one of the places passed by Bávari's pupils on their way to Rájagaha. It lay between Pává and Vesáli. SN.vs.1013.
